Suggestions

So far I'm seeing a pattern concerning the way we sleep. I'm going to let the questionnaire remain as it is until 100 people have participated or until the new year, whichever comes first.

I might take out the breathing difficulty question as there's a close to unanimous "NO" for that answer and replace it with "Do you use a high pillow to sleep with?"

Another potential question I might add is "In your day to day job / life are you more physically active (labourer) or are you more often sat down? (desk job)"

The reason for both these questions would be, as early indications suggest, that it might be our posture over prolonged time crushing and folding on sensitive nerves running along our precordial area, much like shoving paper in to your school bag to take it out and see that it's full of creases. The paper being our bodies and the eventual crease lines representing a result of unwitting yet prolonged pressure from bad posture (kind of lost myself in that but I hope you get what I mean).

Any other suggestions at this stage?

I've been baffled as to why this happens to me. The only thing I can say is that when I was younger, I was always told that I had terrible posture. Other than that, about half the jobs I've had, have been sit down low activity, low impact. (Sitting for 8 hours, no exercise) The other half has been fast paced high activity high stress. (Manual labor, army, exercise everyday)

I would say that in the beginning, until I was about 19 or 20 the attacks were the most frequent. Multiple times a day, everyday.

Around 20 - 25, Attacks less frequent, no pattern at all. Sometimes a few times a day, sometimes once every few months.

Im 27 now, and the attacks are more common now, still no apparent pattern at all.

Hey, I am a website developer. I too have PCS and have found it to be a struggle to get enough information and to find a doctor that knows anything at all about the condition. I would like to contribute to this website by offering my services for free. I see a lot of potential here to help more people. I really like the forum. Message me back if your interested. Could not find another way to contact the moderators or site owners so Im sorry for the message in here. Cheers

Just found this site, so not sure what other questions have been asked, but... I, my sister, and my daughter have this. Have you asked about sleep apnea? We all three have it (though DD had tonsils/adenoids removed and mouth expanded while young which fixed it). My sister has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Wonder if there is any correlation.
Thanks!
